The PET files are in the Box/OneDrive folder called EpilepsySurgery -> Studies-> PET The files in this folder are in DICOM (.dcm) format

There are 2 steps that can be done in MRICro. It’s a free download from https://www.nitrc.org/projects/mricrogl

1. Make nifti files(.nii.gz extension).
2. Open the nifti file in MRICro and adjust color (I use NIH)

MAKE NIFTI FILES

In MRICro, go to import- > convert DICOM to NIfTI. Drag the whole DICOM folder of PET files into  the dcm2nii window

 

Into the white box below, drag and drop the dicom files
A message will pop up that the files have been converted
You can find the new .nii.gz files now in the original DICOM folder

Open the nifti file in MRICro and adjust color (I use NIH)

Try to open it in MRICro (file->open)
